Override default format, but keep the default language as is?

Hey all,

I am trying to override the default format of a report to PDF, but I don't want to select a specific language(I want to keep it as default).  Connection doesn't seem to allow me to do this.  Is there a simpler way to force a report to run as a PDF by default, all else remaining equal?

for each report, under Properties -> Report tab, under Report Options, click on 'Override the default values' and select the format (PDF)...

yes, but that also requires that you select an override language, which I don't want to do.
