Scheduled report with output to Excel lose data

Hi,

I have got a report scheduled to run and save as Excel every night and sometimes the result is not complete.
There are missing rows in the Excel file.

When I run the report interactively (to Escel) the rows are allways included.

Any ideas of where to start looking for a solution.
The recipients are not that happy when they cannot trust the scheduled report

Assuming you're using 8.4, and if appropriate, you could try saving as Excel 2007. This has resolved quite few issues for me. If the users are using an old version of Excel I there is a conversion patch you can download for Office.

The report is scheduled with Excel 2007,

Right now we are testing if scheduling as .csv is more reliable
