Cognos Reports and the iPad
« on: 02 Sep 2010 07:25:22 pm »
I am working to see if I can get some Cognos reports to render properly on the iPad.  I read that Cognos does not run on the Safari Browser.

I can access the reports on the iPad, however the page does not scroll up and down and drill-throughs do not function.

I was wondering if anyone has been successful designing reports for the iPad that has some level of acceptable functionality.

Best results on the Ipad seem to be with PDF output. You can transfer them reasonably easy to the Ipad where they are stored as a new category next to E-books. In fact, they look pretty good! (though you will have no additional functionality whatsoever)..
