Properties of Shortcut of reports not working

Hi,

I did create shortcut for one report.when i click the properties of the shortcut report properties it shows blank page or throws IE error.I guess this is defect cognos 8.4. Have any one of you faced this issue.please reply ASAP.

Could it be that you are running into an authentication issue? How do you create the shortcut?

I am the cognos administrator. i did create the sample audit report also the user report. HAVE YOU TRIED IN YOUR ENVIRONMENT.

Hi,

As mentioned in order to diagnose this it would be helpful to understand how you created the shortcut, what version of Cognos you are using , what IE version and the particular IE error that you receive.

For instance did you for the given sample report, go to the more action and select "Create a shortcut to this entry"?  Is it when you click on the set properties icon of this shortcut you have the issue.

I have tested it and can see no issues
