Accessing DB2 database on the Mainframe

Does anyone know if Reportnet is able to access DB2 residing on the Mainframe? Are there any additional architecture requirements?

What is the DB2 release?

The database version is DB2 UDB for iSeries. Does Cognos support this connection?

As a data source, yes.

DB2 UDB 8.1 FixPak 1+ (including FP7a which is equal to 8.2) via 8.x runtime client  Active
DB2 UDB 8.2 via 8.2 runtime client 

As a Content Store, some.

IBM UDB 7.2 VIA DB2 7.2 JDBC driver
(not supported for DB2 for z/os or AS/400)  Windows/UNIX
IBM UDB 8.1 (including FP7a which is equal to 8.2) via DB2 8 JDBC driver (not supported for DB2 for z/os or AS/400)  Windows/UNIX
