Exceptions while building the cube

We have this crosstab report with a lot of measures reported by month data item.
When I run the report, i get a error saying 'Exception was encountered while building the cube'
I have tabular sets in the query. I am able to view the tabular data. Also, if i drag all the columns on to a list, the report works fine.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions

Check the groupings, the aggreagation function of the measures, and check there might be some charecters in some measures field.
