Crosstab Section

How do we apply section on crosstab.Appreciate your help

I just tried in in my Cognos 10 instance, and it allowed me to select a nested column heading from the crosstab and use the 'Create Section' button to use these as section headings.

If this doesn't work in Cognos 8, drag a list into the report, add the section heading to the list as a column, drag your crosstab inside the list, link them via a master-detail relationship on the section item, then use the 'Create Section' button to convert the list column into section headings.
