Hello
I am having a problem calculating period %s to total year. For instance, my data items in the package are:-
1) Months: members - Jan, Feb, etc
2) Year: members - 2006, 2007, etc
3) Operating Income
4) Measure: members - Forecast, Budget, etc.
I am trying to calculate the Operating Income% of Jan to total year, Feb to total year, such that the months percentages sum to a 100% for a given year depending upon the measure I choose.
Also, is it possible to perform this percentage calculation using more than one measure in the same report i.e., a period %s for the measure "Budget" along with the period %s for the measure "Forecast" so as to do a comparison between the percentages of Budget & Forecast ?
Could someone please help me to perform this calculation using percentage function or any other function available in Cognos 8 ?
