Getting data out of Analysis Studio

There is lots of great data in our cubes. I create adhoc reports and export to Excel when I need them. Is there any way to use an XML data link or other method to get data so that I can use the update functionality in Excel to refresh data? Or is there some type of way to query the server without directly using the website?

There are two tools that you insert Cognos Data in excel.

Cognos Go office (which as far as I know its free as part of Cognos lincence) and
BI Analysis for Excel which you can do your analysis in excel. It looks like you have analysis studio in excel.
