"Freeze Panes" for ReportNet
« on: 30 Aug 2005 09:23:38 am »
I need assistance in figuring out how to "freeze panes" like you can do in Excel.  Most times reports are rather large in their size (very wide and very tall) and there has to be a function somewhere which allows column and row headers to be frozen.  I can only imagine senior mgmt trying to remember what column or row they are either looking at or looking for.  Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried putting your list headers into the page header instead?

There is another way to freeze the headers of, say a list. It is not the easiest way but is doable. There is a very nice multimedia KB available for that on the Cognos support site.
