Report Schedule

Hi all.....

this is my requirement
When reports are scheduled on daily basis the user should recieve email of the scheduled report.Till here its fine but my req is when the job is failed due to some reason,user should receive a message stating job is failed

I dont think this feature as there in schedule management in cognos connection.
But this is possible if u r using some scheuling tools like cronacle.

In Cognos 8, there is a separate application called Event Studio that basically does the notification jobs.
If you don't have license for that, the only solution may be SDK.
