Excel Blocked in Cognos Connection

In Series 7 Cognos Connection I am trying to open up a report in excel format.  I have to hold down the control key in order for Excel to open the report. It does not matter which of the three excel formats I choose.  It started happening when I upgraded to IE 7.0.  Some of the other users have IE 7.0 but are able to open reports in excel format just fine.  I saw this happen in the past when users had a google or yahoo tool bar, CC would start to open in excel but bfr the excel window would open it would disappear.  I am able to open excel just fine by itself and open excel docs just fine too.  Any ideas? Holding the control key + c allows pop ups to not be blocked in I.E.

Your issue is not with Cognos but with your I.E. as you already probably already no.

I would suggest looking over your I.E. security settings and double check ALL your pop up blockers (ie.. Yahoo, Google, I.E. toolbars) and allow pop ups from your cognos URL.
