Previous Year using Dimensional Model

Hi,

I need to get the Current Year data and Previous Year data in one report.
ex.
Current Year (2009)     Previous Year (2008)
     154,209 USD                        ?

How can I get the Previous Year? It is easy getting it using a Relational Model but I need to get it using Dimensional Model. Previous Year was not set in the database that is why I need to do some work around in the front-end or in report studio version 8.3.

Hope you can help me with this to resolve my issues.

Do you have any Time dimention in your model?, if yes, whatz the hirarchie structure..

Hierarchy under Period is Year >> Half-Year >> Quarter >> Months.
