How to set a PDF report output to appear in landscape format by default (not in run time)

In the report, click on File, PDF Page Setup, then choose Portrait or Landscape. Repeat for all pages in the report if you have more than one page.

Thanks for your reply,if we change the page set up properties
to landscape then while running in HTML also wont it get displayed
as landscape?(or correct me if i am wrong,is that property  meant only for PDF)But the requirement is it should show landscape only when the
report output is PDF
Any idea how ?

It says PDF Page Setup, and just like the label says, it only affects PDF output. Try it and see.

As i am using cognos 8.1 version it doesn't read as PDF page setup in the file menu.Anyway feel that the page setup property is only for PDF .
