Can't see the stored procedure in the update database task

hi,

I have created a stored procedure which actually updates a table. I have imported it in the framework manager and its type is data modification. Now when i select the update database task for an event , I m not able to see the stored procedure. It keeps showing the loading.... message in the update SQL tab.
Can anybody help me in this, what step i may be missing here or doing wrong.
its urgent so quick response will be highly appreciated.

Can you see the package name?
Where did you publish your package?..is that in the public folder?

What version of Cognos 8 are you using? if it is Cognos 8.3 and you have published the package inside a folder you cannot see the SP. Make sure you publish the package to the public folder itself.
