Setting Default Reports to XLS rather than HTML in report Studio

Hi Gurus, anyone know how to change the Default Reports to XLS rather than HTML in report studio, when you select run with options

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi

U can do this  by setting the run option property.
go to public folder, select ur package then folder(if u have) then report. on the right side of the report u will have one option call Set properties. click on that. u can find 3 tabs General, Run Options and Permissions. select Run Options . U can find Specify the format. check the check box and select excel 2000 or any of the excel format. then click ok. Now run the report. this automatically takes the excel format.
