"Select Values" option in filter expression is disabled in Cognos8.3

HI All,

In filter expressions by selecting a data item from the left panel, right click->properties,  we have an option "select value/select multiple values" in which on clicking it a box listing the item values will be populated in cognos 8.2versions. Once we upgraded to 8.3 ver this option is being disabled for the data items and enabled only upto levels(hierarchial levels).Here we are using dimensional model based report package.

I need to confirm in Cognos 8.3 whether this option is disabled for dimensional models alone???, because I can confirm the above functionality is enabled for all the items (levels & data items) and working fine for relational model report packages.

i cant help you with your problem but i have a tip for you.

please add your attachments not in office 2007 format because not everybody have it. the best way ist to add it as a pdf so everybody can read it and may help you.

HI i had attached as jpg format. Dimensional model screenshot I have attached in my earlier post.
Hereby I'm attaching relational model based published package..

U can see the difference in the 2 models that I have created in Cognos8.3version.

But earlier in 8.2 both models were working fne..

Plz help .....
