Problem description
Hi,
When i create a prompt for a customer in 8.4 report studio report on a
long text field the prompt box adjusts its width to fit the text length
of the values.
However, in reports which may use many prompts and where a prompt page
is needed there doesnt seem to be a way to extend the width of the box.
The width is reduced to only maybe 5 cm where the length of the field
value may be 10 cm for example. How can this be extended to show the
full values available?
It prevents use of the prompts where say the values may be
"xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 01" and "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 02" and only
differ at the end. i.e the box shrinks when report is run; I know there is a limit on the number of characters you can
enter etc. Is there any code/ change to a config file which will allow
expansion of this box to fit the values, or a custom size etc on the
prompt page?
