Automate scripts via Event Studio?

I have a script that zips and emails out cognos reports from the shared folder location.Is there a way to automate this script in event studio instead of having to execute it manually?

Also does anyone have a sophisticated script for error handling?(i.e if the ETL load fails,rerun /retry ETL/cognos reports)
