Metric Studio Installation

Hi,

I would like to know the details of metric studio installation, currently I am having an application server in linux machine and content store in Oracle.

I want to know the followig details:

--Can this metric studio component installed in the same location as that of application server.
--What is the exact name of metric studio software.
--If this can be installed in the same location of application server, what are the additional configuration  settings that needs to be performed.

I want to know too.  Also can Oracle database be shared with content store and metric studio.  TIA

Yes you can install it on the App server.  No additional configuration or naming, it simply integrates with the C8 website.  A new item appears in the Launch menu.  You cannot share a Content Store and Metric store database, because the software initializes the objects in the schema and insert its own.  Don't share databases.
