Hi,

we are trying to create a report with thrill-throught capability from a cube.

The time dimension that was generated in the cube is based on the movement_date column and has the following formats for every level:

YEAR: YYYY
MONTH: YYYY/MMM
DAY: YYYY/MM/DD

The parameter was added to the prompt page as a date and with the in_range operator. The strange part is that when the query is executed in teradata it takes something similar to this form:

...
WHERE movement_date BETWEEN '009/01/2' AND '009/01/2'
...

You can notice that the dates are truncated on both sides.
Does anybody have an idea on what should we change?

Thanks and regards.

Hi,

I recall issues like this in earlier builds of 8.4.  What version are you on currently?

Thank you for the fast response MF.

We are using the version 8.4 in the report studio and the 8.4.2286.0 for the transformer.

It looks like there is some kind of bug but right now there is not going to be an intervention in the server. Because of that we need a workaround or some justification that it is not possible to solve it.

Any pointers you could give us would be of great help.

Best regards.

I know for sure it is fixed in 8.4.1.  Are you in a position to upgrade to this release?
