Security on a dataitem

HI Friends,

Can anyone help me on the following.

I have a dataitem in a report say for example "Product"
and i have some users eg: Sony and samsung
So if a user belongs to "sony" should able to see the porducts belongs to Sony only and if a user belongs to "Samsung" should able to see the porducts belongs to Samsung only.

Could anyone please help me in implementing the security.

Hi,

Select the Query Subject in question, and apply security filters (Actions -> Specify Data Security) for each group of users - one filtered on [Product] = 'Sony' and the other filtered on [Product] = 'Samsung'

Republish the package when you have set these up.
