Email based on a data item

Hi,

The requirement is to send an email to customers when their requested product is available. I have noticed that in an 'Email task', the receipeints can be selected from Cognos directory. But, how can the email be sent based on a data item?

All our customers Logon IDs and email addresses are available in a query subject, but I am not sure how to link these ids in the email task. Please help!

You should be able to just drag the email data item into the email field.
