Job Description: TM1 Report Developer (Project Consulting Position)

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintaining the scheduling, distribution, and refreshing for reports/views
Serving as a technical expert on Cognos TM1 and recommending ways to improve functionality and usefulness
Supporting test and production reporting environments including daily administration, batch processing, configuration management, environment migration, and tool automation
Providing support for the maintenance of the Excel, TM1 Web and TM1 Executive Viewer portal pages and data views as specified by the client
Maintaining SQL repository to store the metadata for Executive Viewer
Coordinating administrative maintenance activities for Executive Viewer and TM1 Web with Global Operations and Infrastructure Team
Job Requirements:
Education Requirement
Bachelors degree (B.S.) in Computer Science or related discipline with a finance education/ background
Qualifications and Requirements
Five years of experience in database development combined with experience in data modeling, data warehouse development methodologies and multidimensional cube implementation or equivalent combination of education and experience
Detailed working knowledge of PL/SQL and Visual Basic
Experience building TM1 cubes
Experience with Java and Web Development
Direct and advanced experience building Executive Viewer and TM1 9.4 reports over a web environment. The clients solution is mainly web-based and requires strong web development skills in addition to TM1 skills
Experience as a TM1 system administrator to understand the data load of multiple data sources, SQL where most data is loaded from TM1 complex security, TM1 Turbo Integrator processes, and dimension editing. Need to have a strong understanding of the backend of the system in order to make reports function properly and be able to communicate well with our system administrators.
Examples of TM1 reports that are complex in nature and/or snapshots from a web environment a plus

Comfortable interacting with all levels of management with minimal direction
Excellent written, oral communication, analytical and organizational skills
Strong work ethic and willing to work extra hours when needed during financial crunch times to meet deliverable deadlines
