I have observed some very unusual behaviour while exploring the latest version of Cognos.
My instance is setup on my own cloud environment, where I have multiple machines running for different purposes.
1 Machine for Cognos
1 Machine for Database
1 Machine for active directory
1 Machine for Gateway
When I try to use a data module within the cloud environment, I am able to flawlessly work on anything and everything.
But, when I am trying to access the Analytics from outside of cloud environment, everything works well except the data modules. I am not sure why this is happening.
I have tried without gateway version of Cognos as well.
Do we need to have any other ports open except 9300 to make data module work properly?
