I am trying to create a "test" environment in Cognos Analytics 11 using content from Cognos 10.2.1 production system.
Installed & configured 11 on a separate server (side-by-side installation on same server went nowhere) so v11 is running. I exported the complete Content Manager contents using "export content" job which created 2 files (.zip and .z01) with a total of 2.5 GB.
Then I tried running the "import content" job in 11 which appears to be hanging -- i.e. 24 hour after starting the job, it is still "executing" although I don't see much of anything happening on the system (CPU utilization 1%, minimal reads/writes).
I did not choose the "upgrade reports" option, just the basic migration.
I am using DB2 v9.7 as Content Store for Cognos 10.2.1 and using DB2 v10.5 as Content Store for Cognos 11.
Has anybody encountered something similar?
