Hi all,

I have Cognos Express. When I login and try to open Cognos Connections I receive the following error.

CM-SYS-5043
Content Manager failed to create an object.

Details:
Smart-large-object error.. SQLCODE=-9810, SQLSTATE=IX000, DRIVER=3.53.100

I don't know hot this happened.
I see that this is maybe Informix error?
Maybe something is broken in Cognos Content Store?

How can I fix it?

Thanks and Regards,
Stancho

Are the Informix services running?  Just wondering if the content store is unavailable because Informix did not come up?

Yes, they're running.

I also tried to restart the computer... the same..

The Content Store was broken.
I have an access to Cognos Administration.
I restored the content store from a backup and it is ok now.

Sorry - you beat me to it.  Re-initializing and restoring the content store was going to be my next suggestion.  Glad you managed to fix it!
