Directory Server not responding


I have installed Cognos Impromptu and Powerplay 7.4 on Win 2008 R2 (iis 7.) and  while ago it was working ok but after some reboot directory server stopped working. I am using Sun One ds. I have checked the services and all are up. I have tried to install Directory Server again but even the installation does not succeed. It complains about host. Any clue what could be wrong?
