Error when using cube as import source

I am attempting to use a cube-based package as an import source.  However, I get the following error each time we attempt the connection:

PDS-PPE-0000 No error message is available.

The cube has been refreshed on mulitple occasions (per some posts).
FYI, we ahve followed the same process for 7 other cube packages without error.  All cubes are generated in the same manner.

any possible solutions.
