« on: 27 Feb 2012 01:06:26 pm »
Hello,

Is it possible to create a discontinuous crosstab in Query Studio?  I can't find any documentation on the topic...

Thanks.

Nope. Stacking is not available in crosstabs in Query Studio - only nesting. You would need to use Report Studio or Analysis Studio for discontinuous crosstabs.

Regards,

MF.

PS - Grim, a discontinuous crosstab is where sets are stacked in rows and/or columns, and the stacked sets have different nested levels to other sets on the same axis, eg a crosstab with Product Types and Order Methods nested in rows, then stacked below these in rows you have Years with nothing else nested alongside.
Meep!
