Is it possible to set up an email alert when scheduled reports fail?

As above - we have various reports (written using Report Studio) that are scheduled to run within Cognos Connection (the reports are scheduled via the 'schedule' icon and not run via jobs).  We sometimes have report-run failures late and I'm wondering if there is any way to set up an auto email alert to flag up such failures?
