Cognos Finance Security to Cognos Access Manager

I have a quick question which I hope someone can help me with re Cognos Finance and Cognos Access Manager,

A Customer wants to change from CF native security to CAM, I did this on the CF server and it's worked fine, however when I then try to log on to CF via either a local client or through terminal services I get the following error message,

 'The runtime configuration settings do not specify a default authentication source'

Do I have to apply the Directory Server settings for each local client and on the terminal services server?

Appreciate any knowledge you can pass my way.
