Cognos for Microsoft Office 64 bit installation Troubleshooting

Just attempted to install the 64bit version of the Cognos for Microsoft Office addin after upgrading MS Office 2013 to the 64bit version (via Office 365).  I had MS Office 2013 32bit version before.  When I begin the Cognos addin install, a popup appears indicating that it's detecting 32bit Office (although I definitely have 64bit installed now, not 32bit).  Has anyone encountered this before and know how to tackle?

Office 365 isn't listed as a supported version by Cognos as far as I know. Is there a reason you're not just installing the 32-bit version of Cognos for MS Office to match your 32-bit version of MS Office 2013?

Thanks MFGF.  So is the best solution to reinstall MS Office from an alternate download location and not via Office 365?  I've upgraded to the 64 bit version of MS Office to handle bigger data in Excel (via power BI addins) so the reasoning is not really related to Cognos.  I no longer have the 32bit version but installer must see some sort of remnant that's causing it to think I still have 32bit MS Office.  I'm just wanting to install the complementary cognos addin for 64bit since the add in has to agree with 64bit MS office.
