Cognos Data Manager Features

I am looking for some key features of Cognos Data Manager which is not available in other ETL tools like Informatica, Abinitio etc.From what I understand Cognos has a Hierarchy builder as well as scheme types that you can select which are not readily available in other tools. Also, do you have some undocumented tips to better use DM?
