Global filter - Date prompts are not working in Cognos workspace

Hi All,
Can anyone help me on this.

I have created a list report using relation model package with date prompts.
I placed the report in cognos workspace along with global date prompt page.
when I change the date range in Global prompt page ,the changes are not reflecting in the report in workspace.
I have enabled Listen for widgets events of the prompt and check in Liston To window.Still it is not working.

Can anyone suggest what I missed in this.

r u maintaining the same parameters in both global report and widget report?
