Save Button Greyed Out
« on: 11 Nov 2016 10:31:00 am »
Executive Dashboard Security is attached.  I am a member of Directory Administrators.  I can create a dashboard, drag and drop charts, etc  onto a new dashboard. However when I go to save the document I get a greyed out save button and a limited view window. I will post that picture in a second post.  Any clue how to remedy this so that I may save created workspaces.

My first thought was permissions, but admin normally overrides everything and can do anything.

Are you able to save it in your My Folders?

Nope, not ANY folder.  I thought it may be permissions as well, but doesn't seem to be.

Turns out it's a Browser issue.  Cognos 10.2.1 Workspace does not like IE 11.0.  Opened it in Chrome....works great

You may want to put IE11 into compatability mode for Cognos, if you do not currently have it set.

What fix pack (if any) is installed? When Cognos 10.2.1 was originally released, IE11 was not yet available. IBM included support for IE11 in 10.2.1 as part of the fix pack update programme. Take a look at the Supported Environments page for details:
