Framework Manager Installation
« on: 17 Feb 2017 07:51:54 am »
Hi All - I've just had framework manager installed on my local 64-bit pc.  When I attempt to open a fm file I get this error:

QE-DEF-0510 Cannot create directory: '..\bin\../data/cqe/RTModels

I don't have administration rights to my local pc, or to cognos config.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Rich

The software will need admin rights, unfortunately. If you go to the properties of the shortcut and click 'Advanced', there's an option to always run as administrator.

Perhaps this is justification to get admin rights on your local PC  ;D

Thanks for your reply, CognoidJay.  I may just have to stick with remote FM access.
