Cognos Analytics Dev enviroment > Cognos 10.2.2 Live Enviroment

Hi,

Just wanted to ask is this feesable, are we able to have Cognos Analytics on our dev enviroment to develop on (mostly simple report studio reports) and release to the live enviroment which is still on Cognos 10.2.2.
 
We're not allowed to have Analytics on the live enviroment just yet because of well....politics  :o

Hi,

No, that's not going to work. You can't deploy from a later to an earlier release. It would work the other way around (10.2.2 Dev and 11 Live). You're going to need to keep your Dev environment on 10.2.2 for now, until you can upgrade your live environment to 11.
