Connection to HFM not working

Hello all,

Does any one have tried to connect CDM to HFM? The IBM manual doesn't give enough information and we are having problems to access HFM when creating thew data source connection.

We are using CDM 10.2.1 and HFM 11.1.2.1.0 on a windows 64 environment. Bellow are the procedure we are following:
- Add HFM Data Source;
- Add Name;
- Add expiration Policy;
- Add machine name.

After doing this the application combo does not refresh with any application and no errors are shown.

Hi fdr_2k,

On the CDM server machine, you need to install a 64 bit HFM client.
The CDM server would basically be using that to connect to the HFM server.

Don't forget to issue an iisreset after the installation, to make sure the new variables are being loaded.
