Hi,

What exact version of Cognos Analytics are you using? I found a PMR raised for a similar issue, and the fix was to install 11.0.11 (or later)

Cheers!

Hello, I am using cognos version 11.1 and i'm getting the following error when executing a report:

XQE-RSA-0021 An invalid attempt to cast a class occurred during data retrieval:
com.cognos.xqe.runtree.relational.vectorization.DoubleColumnVector incompatible with com.cognos.xqe.runtree.relational.vectorization.DecimalColumnVector

I am not getting this error however in cognos 10. I suppose this is due to the conversion to DQM from CQM. The report works fine as soon as i execute at least one query but i have to do it every time in order to get the report to work, otherwise i am getting this error.
Does anybody know how to solve this?
Thank you!
