Upgrade 11.0.12 to 11.1.2

I just upgraded to 11.1.2 installation over the old version on our dev server.   11.1.2 automatically loads Informix for a content store and the Cognos service depends on Informix service started.   I am having issues with the Informix startup and do not use Informix for content store.  We have DB2 on a separate server. Is there anyway to remove dependency on Informix and just come up on the DB2?  The Cognos Configuration is still correct showing the DB2.  I appreciate any suggestions.

I finally figured it out.  I unloaded the 11.1.2 and loaded 11.1.1.   Then upgraded to 11.1.2 and it worked.  So I did the production server by upgrading to 11.1.1 and then 11.1.2.  Up and running.

So running from 11.0.12 to 11.1.1 and then 11.1.2 worked? We just had an issue this past weekend upgrading our Prod environment from 11.0.3 to 11.1.2 and it failed and we had to roll back. But when we were testing, we upgraded to 11.1.1 and then to 11.1.2 and had no issues. Now that I see your post, I wonder if this is a cause of our issues.
