8.1 subversion differences

Not sure if this is the right forum, but here it goes:

We have a development environment 8.1 MR2. We thought that we installed another Cognos environment elsewhere that is the same version, but migrated reports that contain crosstabs keep throwing XML errors:

The attribute 'detail' on this element is not defined in the DTD/Schema.

There are other issues, but I am wondering if the errors may have something to do with having installed an even earlier version than 8.1 MR2 (possible by accident)

Anybody a clue or a way to check the installed version?

you can check the installed version including service pack/hotfix versions in the file cmplst.txt in the root dir of the your cognos installation.

The version of configuration manager gave me the clue that an older version was installed. The 8.1 MR2 version has a 2006 config. manager , the installed one showed 2005 as year..
