Finding a banner data element in Cognos

Hi,
We are just beginning to create our reports (we go live with Banner July 09) and we're having several problems.  For an AP we're trying to create a report that will show the effective date the vendor was put into the system.  The field in Banner is FTVVEND_EFF_DATE but we can't find a corresponding field in the ODS views.  Does anyone have a suggestion?  Did anyone get this data element added?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
