how to change color of the user name displayed in cognos connection

I am trying customize our cognos connection.I am not able to change the color of the user name displayed. This is NOT in the welcome page, but on the portel. help would be appreciated.

In the folder "\ c8 \ WebContent \ skins \ corporate \ shared \" modifies the file "banner.css" and look

FFFFFF Change the color that you like. (Cognos 8.4)
