Macros or Tools for fetching the details from cognos tools

Hi,

We are using cognos impromptu to create reports. We are in process of fetching the details of the catalogs used. Details like the tables associated, the joins etc.
Is there any excel macros or any tools that might suit our purpose? Please respond.
