Deployment Manager and ppserver files

I have packaged up our Production Cognos 7.3 environment using Deployment Manager and I want to deploy it to our development server.
After I unpack the deployment, I get Access Manager updated and the Upfront Newsboxes updated.
I have manually copied over the cubes.
What doesn't appear to update are the files under ppserver. PPES is not updated.
Does Deployment Manager not update PPES?
If I manually copy ppserver folder to dev, how do I change the server name in each report?
