Title: I am unable to open the Cognos Connection

Hi all,

I have installed Cognos 8 clients and Oracle 9i as the database.
At the beginning it worked but all of a sudden it popped the error window with a message:

DPR-ERR-2109 The dispatcher cannot service the request at this time. The dispatcher is still initializing. Contact your administrator if this problem persists. 


Can any one help me on this issue. I am new to this Cognos stuff..

is your content store db up & running, you will have to look under log files..

Yep it is up and running. Haven't made any changes from the past. It worked fine yesterday but not today.....
