Title: Content Manager failed to connect to the content store?

I can't get my new cognos 8.4 install to connect to the Content store (oracle 10g). I get the error below when I test the connection...


[ ERROR ] The database connection failed.
[ ERROR ] Content Manager failed to connect to the content store. The connection string is "jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:1521:cognos".

I copy the ojdbc14.jar to the directory "...c8\webapps\p2pd\WEB-INF\lib",

I can connect to the content store from sqlplus with no problems, and i made sure the username used to login has permissions to insert/update/delete.

I also try to use advanced oracle in the cognos configration,But it has the same problem, Can anyone tell the reason?

Hello,
Copy "classe12.jar,classe12.zip & ojdbc14.jar" into "c:\ORACLE\...\jdbc\lib" to "c:\Cognos\...\webapps\p2pd\WEB-INF\lib" and restart Cognos configuration
