hi
I am new to cognos i installed cognos in my system(vista) but it is showing error as http://localhost:80/cognos8/cgi-bin/cognos.cgi?b_action=xts.run&m=portal/close.xts pls help me in this regard iis is 7.0 and i have installed MS SQL 2008 and .net in system the loacal host is coming but i cant able to see the cognos path in that folder C:\inetpub\WWWRoot

Did you create the Cognos8 path in IIS that points to the c:\...\CGi-bin folder. Check the installation guide on updating IIS to add Cognos path.
