Hi all,

I am new to cognos administration. I am trying to install it on a system. Intalled the BI server (8.3). I have added the two virtual directories also in IIS Manager. But still i am not able to browse. It gives these errors.

for cognos8
HTTP Error 404.3 - Not Found
The page you are requesting cannot be served because of the extension configuration. If the page is a script, add a handler. If the file should be downloaded, add a MIME map.

for cgi-bin
HTTP Error 403.14 - Forbidden
The Web server is configured to not list the contents of this directory.

Please tell me what additional things i need to do.

what's the OS ?
which version of IIS ?

Its vista, IIS 6.0.

Did you configure the Cgi and ISAPI Restrictions?
